About Me
For over 16 years, I have worked as an underwater filmmaker, capturing extraordinary moments in some of the most captivating marine ecosystems on the planet. My work spans documentary filmmaking and advertising campaigns, with a focus on conservation and storytelling. I have been privileged to document unique marine life interactions, using non-invasive techniques that allow me to reveal the beauty and fragility of underwater worlds.
My journey as a filmmaker has taken me from the Mediterranean coasts to the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific, and I have collaborated on projects aimed at raising awareness about marine biodiversity. These ventures have instilled in me a deep sense of purpose: to inspire action through visual storytelling.
Underwater filmmaking was not my first calling. My passion for the ocean began as a child growing up near the shores of Spain, where I spent countless hours diving and exploring marine life. Initially, I pursued a career in technology and digital media, refining skills in visual design and content creation, which later became invaluable tools in my transition to filmmaking.
The ocean’s allure remained a constant, and eventually, it became the centerpiece of my career. I invested in technical expertise, mastering tools like DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere Pro to bring my vision to life. As an STS and A1/A3 certified drone pilot and a licensed sea captain, I have developed the ability to film from air, land, and sea, creating dynamic and immersive visuals.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with incredible mentors and teams who have shaped my approach to filmmaking. Their guidance has deepened my understanding of conservation and the power of storytelling to drive change.
My hope is that through my work, I can inspire others to appreciate and protect the natural world. Whether documenting the intricate behaviors of marine species or collaborating on campaigns that promote sustainability, I am committed to creating media that makes a difference.
