Las Barras y Pecios del Maresme
El Maresme is a county along the Mediterranean coast of Catalonia. The underwater environment of this county has unique rock formations called submarine bars (“Las Barras”), which form parallel to the coast. These bars generate a peculiar rocky scenery surrounded by Posidonia meadows that attract marine biodiversity.
