Through the vintage lens

Viewing the present underwater world through the lenses of the past.

From Carl Zeiss Jena to Meyer Optik Görlitz, vintage lenses offer a unique perspective that can enhance the beauty of marine life.

I’ve come to realize I enjoy bringing a different perspective to underwater photography through the process of:

1) choosing vintage lenses that could capture unique underwater images,

2) engineering a way to allow the manual focus to work,

3) making them fit certain port configurations of my housing.
